Synopsis:
Hong Pao, son of the chief of a Miao tribe, is forced to flee and take shelter in a remote region after the assassination of his father by some subordinates. A devout believer of sorcery, Hong Pao is convinced by a sorcerer that he can become ommipotent and return trium- ‘ phantly to the tribe if he would kill his pregnant wife, take out the baby and transform it into an imp of Satan. Learning the sorcerer’s scheme, his wife takes flight at the dead of the night and soon gives birth to two twin daughters.
